This particular model offers a touch of nostalgia and historical significance, making it a valuable addition to any collection of vintage electronics. All capacitors have been replaced. The capacitors which were originally inside the Bakelite enclosures were removed and the enclosures re-stuffed with new capacitors. The radio receives and plays well using a long wire antenna attached to the “Ant” terminal, as these old radios did not come with a built-in antenna. The cabinet has been refinished using dark walnut stain and a topcoat of clear polyurethane. The grille fabric has been replaced also. The speaker had a tear in the paper cone which has been repaired. (glued) The speaker sounds good. The cord has been replaced at some point and is in good condition.
