I have not tested this as the old cord doesn’t look too good. The tuning dial and on/off control turn with ease. Cabinet has some marks and scratches some peeling. This is dusty and needs cleaning as well. See photos for more details.

Up for sale is my 1930s Packard Bell Model 35A. I recapped this set a few years ago, it works fine and has just been collecting dust on my shelf, so I really need to find it a new home. If you have any questions, feel free to ask or send an offer! I can send pictures of my work from under the chassis if requested. I’ll also bench test the set for a few hours prior to mailing it. I’ll pack the radio well, I want it to arrive intact to its new home.

I do a lot of business with them and they always have well cared for gear. Not saying it won’t need adjustments but, it looks like a nice clean unit. Everything you see in the pictures is what is included in this lot. Photos are the best description. Please look at all pictures closely before purchasing. We will document any damage the best we can but the photos will always be the best way to exam the item. Items may need a more in depth cleaning. Up for sale is a beautiful antique Philco Model 624 tombstone vacuum tube radio, a classic 1930s-era piece known for its elegant cabinet design and strong collector appeal. This is a larger 18.5 tall tombstone model, making it a standout display piece and an excellent candidate for restoration. Untested due to a damaged power cord. It currently has a battery (DC) power cord installed, which will need to be replaced. Very clean interior and exterior, well preserved. Shows minor scuffs, light scratches, and normal age related wear. Cabinet is solid and displays beautifully.
