(wooden cabinet – small cute tube radio) FM – 104 MHZ! A small wooden tube radio. The radio turns on and plays on FM. Other bands are not tested. Nice high gloss wooden cabinet , samll damage at the side – see detailed picture. All at all nice optic. The tubes are : ECC85 ECH81 EF89 EABC80 EM84 EL95 EL 95 is brand new!! and are all checked on FUNKE W 19 S military tube tester too. The size is : 470 x 285 x 230 mm / 18.5 x 11.2 x 9.1 inch its multivoltage, Alternating Current supply (AC) / 120; 220 V (can be set easily at the back) the weight is around 7.5 kg. German tube radio, built 1958 by the famous SABA company, Villingen, black forest. Restored completely, working perfect! Typical design of the early 1960ies. This radio has been restored electrically and optically. In that period I got a lot of experience with these radios. THIS RADIO IS WORKING PERFECT, GREAT SOUND AND RECEIPT! Very few signs of age and use! One little failure in varnishing on top. Please have a look at the fotos, it looks great, and will be of course an eyecatcher in your living room. The dial glass is mint! This radio has 1 full band speaker (greencone) in front and 2 tweeters to the left and right for full 3D sound. The chassis has been restored electrically. The tubes are new or used in mint condition. Magic eye EM84 is NEW. All bad capacitors are changed , the mechanic is working perfect. The switches are in good working condition. All knobs and keys are original. The chassis itself is cleaned and in original excellent condition. Are all in excellent working condition. There are following tubes inside. ECC85 , ECH81 , EBF89 , ECL82 , EM84. The filters were adjusted using a Grundig AS5 test transmitter. Fantastic sound, a lot of bass and clear highs! Perfect receipt on FM. The radio is factory prepaired to work on 220-240 VAC. As well as on 110-120V AC. I will prepare the radio to work in the country you live! The sound is nice, warm sound. The radio came from Germany and has a European style plug, but there is also an adapter which I use to plug into sockets we use here in the U. Note in the last photo : one of the piano style keys popped off recently. Radio still works and I have the key, as you can see in the last photo. Get some static when tuning from one station to the next. I listen to a classical music station in my area and the sound is very nice.
