This Clarion unit came from a estate of a collector of vintage radios, I have shearched the web and was unable to find this model. Not sure but I dont really have anyway to tell if it needed the antienna attached…. The wooden cabinet I feel given some time and effort could be redone and made to look very nice, but you decide. If anyone could offer any info on this please feel free to do so Thanks.

VERY COOL EMERSON MODEL 540 MIDGET TUBE RADIO FROM 1947. THE CABINET IS REFINISHED IN A GORGEOUS 2 TONE SILVER AND RED OHIO STATE COLORS. IT IS CLEAR COATED IN A PREMIUM AUTOMOTIVE CLEAR AND BUFFED TO A MIRROR LIKE SHINE THAT WILL LAST FOR YEARS TO COME. THIS IS A 5 TUBE 1 BAND A/M SET THAT HAS HAD A FULL REBUILD WITH NEW CAPACITORS AND FILTERS. ALL TUBES WERE CHECKED AND REPLACED AS NEEDED. CONTROLS WERE CLEANED AND LUBED AS NEEDED. PLAYS GOOD PICKING UP SEVERAL STATIONS IN MY AREA WITH WIRE ANTENNA. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL RADIO THAT WILL LOOK GREAT IN ANY OFFICE OR HOME DECOR AND WOULD MAKE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS PRESENT. SO IF YOU ARE A OSU FAN OR HAVE SOMEONE WHO IS DON’T LET THIS LITTLE ONE OF A KIND SET GET AWAY. 61/2″ W X 5″T X 4 D.
