The Vintage Wood Case Tube Radio by Aladdin is a nostalgic piece of American-made electronics history. This radio, part of Aladdin’s product line, features a classic wood case design and operates using vacuum tubes, adding to its charm as a vintage collectible.

This is a classic vintage 1950s Zenith portable tube radio, model G503-Y (Chassis 5G41). It features a distinct textured black carrying case with a fold-out front panel that reveals the iconic “The Royalty of Radio” standard broadcast dial face. The internal vacuum tube components are intact. This unit runs on a standard 117V AC/DC power cord or via a vintage Z909 battery (battery not included).

I do a lot of business with them and they always have well cared for gear. Not saying it won’t need adjustments but, it looks like a nice clean unit. Everything you see in the pictures is what is included in this lot. Photos are the best description. Please look at all pictures closely before purchasing. We will document any damage the best we can but the photos will always be the best way to exam the item. Items may need a more in depth cleaning. Cosmetic condition shows age-related wear including scratches, finish wear, scuffs, dust, and edge wear. Please review all photos carefully for exact condition details. A very collectible mid-century Zenith “Boomerang” design radio with great display appeal.

Working zenith radio was able to get a radio station, the sound quality is good. Little minor scratches here and there. The bass and treble switches are broken of. It is brown with a very sleek design. In the photo, there is a white button for the bass, but that has since fell out and is missing. That is the only thing that will be missing from the photos.
