Vintage Philco Transitone Space Age 52-548 Tube Radio. It does work however it takes a while to start receiving signals. It measures approximately 7.5 inches tall by 13.5 inches wide and 10.5 inches deep. It is in nice condition.

This is a Philco Jr Model 81 cathedral radio from 1933. The tuning works even though the dial scale itself is cracked and damaged. The cabinet is rough. There is finish loss, scratching and wear throughout the exterior. Some wiring has been updated and you can see electrical tape on parts of the chassis. Replacement tubes have been installed. This would make a good candidate for someone who wants a working chassis to pair with a better cabinet, or who wants to take on a full restoration. All three original knobs are there and the chassis appears otherwise complete.

Lights up when turned on, middle dial station selector does not turn. The case is wood with right front (3) dials. Left deco cut outs with cloth wrap around are original and in good condition.
