Vintage PHILCO Model 20 Baby Grand Cathedral Radio. This unit came from an abandoned storage facility; I do not know its history. The unit is in good cosmetic condition for its age. It powers on (when Powered On you can see the tubes are working), but for some reason there is no sound coming out. THIS IS ALL I KNOW ABOUT IT, THEREFORE. On the right side on the curved parts are some mild to medium humps and bumps from possible warping and one crack in the wood, didnt feel it form the inside of the radio the warping. Some of the cloth is off of the cord and the cardboard insert of the plug, didn’t see any bare wires though. The front cloth is in great shape. Some wear to the felt circles on the bottom of the radio. Some cracking in the wood on the bottom. The radio got a clear station, one other wanted to come in but think it needs a antenna. At first I plugged it in and waited for 5 minutrs, got alot of screeching then got a clear channel on #40. After I played it for 20 minutes, I went back to the station and it came in every time.

Vintage Philco Model 37-89 Cathedral radio that is a good candidate for restoration. I was not able to receive anything on the shortwave band, but that is not unusual for this area, as the signal is not strong. The finish on the radio is all original and has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax, but it is showing wear on the front and there is a veneer chip on the left front edge that has been patched with wood putty. The power cord is in good condition. The grill cloth is in good condition, with a small tear on the right side. All of the knobs turn smoothly and properly, but the bottom center knob is not original. The dial indicator functions properly as well, but the plastic dial indicator is broken and has been taped together. The chassis does have some surface rust, but nothing out of the ordinary. Great looking cathedral radio to add to your collection. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.

Silvertone Cathedral Tube Radio Table Top Art Deco Vintage 1930′s Wooden Cabinet. This item powers on. For it to properly tune into channels, you’ll need to attach an antenna (not included). Condition notes: Cabinet has some layers peeled off in the front, as pictured. Also the outer cabinet has some scratches and a small split, as shown in pictures. Touched my antenna to the terminal and is working good. A couple indentation spots on the top of the radio and one in the front top edge. Some light edge wear at the bottom edging of the radio, some lines of cracks in the frame of the circle and other wear see pictures. Cord and cloth are good. The radio looks to be in excellent shape. Not sure of the model number there is a 13-2880 on the chassis. Cant find the radio on worth point or google just the mini cathedral that looks similar.

Some damage to the center, a crack on each side and a either a knot in the wood or damage there, see photos. Some damage to the Right side art deco piece at the top side. Cabinet has a couple of paint spots in white that should come off. When I plugged it in the lighted dial came on an I got a clear station, when I tried to go back to it couldn’t get it, then got another station and same thing happened. Tries to get stations, volume wasn’t too high when I got a station. Got some whistles when going to the 300 -400 stations. Be sure to check out all 24 pictures. Flashlight spots show some of the features that are damaged ect.
