I have not tested this as the old cord doesn’t look too good. The tuning dial and on/off control turn with ease. Cabinet has some marks and scratches some peeling. This is dusty and needs cleaning as well. See photos for more details.
Early 1960s beautiful Nordmende Elektra tube radio. Includes UKW (FM), Longwave, Medium Wave, and Shortwave. In a very good condition except a small crack in the left side. I’m currently operating the radio on 220V using a power adapter, but there’s a note on the back indicating it can also be operated on 110V, though I haven’t tested that. The speaker shows color on the front. Chip on the top less than 1/4 and a chip on the left side end, good plug need a backing on the back, got a clear channel and more. May have some light blemishes in the bakelike finish, Light scratches on the right side. The cloth shows the speaker and may have some stains. 11″ long 6 1/4″ deep and 6 3/4 tall. Interior of the radio could be made of some hazardous materials I dont know about, and cords. Catalog # 452 Personal.
