Just finished and ready for its new home is a beautiful 1938 Philco tube radio model 38-12. The radio is 11.5″ long x 8″ tall x 6 deep. The cabinet is stunning in display and features the very nice wrap around grill for the speaker. The bezel and knobs have been polished and resealed. There is a new AC power cord, new dial lamp, new grill cloth, and new filter and audio capacitors. The glass dial cover is excellent as is the speaker which sounds strong and clear. The remaining tubes and electrical components were tested and replaced if needed. You will need to attach a few feet of wire to the antenna pigtail at the rear of the radio to ensure good reception and proper performance from the radio.
