Amazingly, this beautiful little radio still works after 80 years! This lovely little radio is in nice condition, and to my knowledge is all original, including the cord and plug. It is cute and compact, and surprisingly small for 1935, measuring just 9.75″ high, 7″ wide and 5 deep. Please see all of the close-up photos for detail, including the picture of an original advertisement for this radio. There is some yellowing of the dial cover. The dial reads, “Radio and Television”, although there is no TV screen. I was told that this radio also picked up the audio of early TV broadcasts. On the back it reads, Licensed for radio amateur experimental and broadcast reception under following patents of RCA and associated companies. The radio does work, but I was only able to find one station that was loud and strong. The other stations were not very loud. I live about 80 miles north of New York City, far from the strong signals, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
