Tested and the clock and sound works. Produced static, and the clock did turn. See the cracking on the bottom. This is a rare piece. I can’t find any other units for sale of this model, late alone the fact that it is pink.

Here is a neat rare mini tombstone Emerson set for someone to fix up and add to their collection. I don’t see a model number listed on it, but believe it to be a model 108, made in 1936. It is made of Ivory Plaskon. This set is not perfect but a very worthwhile and attractive set to fix up. I do not know its electrical condition. The chassis looks to be unaltered and factory to me. Its power cord has been cut. These sets had a dangerous power cord that was likely to burn so it needs that needs modernized anyway. Plaskon is a sensitive material that over time usually stresses or cracks. This set has some of these typical hairline cracks. The biggest is at the bottom of its back plate, see photos showing both the inside and outside of this hairline cracks. It has 3 very tiny hairline short cracks at its front bottom. One near a knob and 2 along a decorative line. See photos of a pen pointing to those. This set has some grille cloth deterioration at the bottom. This set looks to have 2 screws holding its back cover that are not original, and one missing. I believe the 2 bottom screws are original. The top, sides, and bottom look good with no cracks. The dial looks good as far as I can tell. I believe that covers everything. Message me with questions.

Highly collectible, genuine 1933 Emerson Model 250-AW “All-Wave” Midget tube tabletop radio. This historic Great Depression-era radio features a beautiful cathedral-style arched wooden cabinet crafted by the renowned Ingraham Cabinet Company. The radio has been tested and DOES power on. The speaker functions and emits a steady static/hum sound that responds when adjusting the volume and tuning knobs. It does NOT currently tune into any active radio stations. It will require typical electronic servicing (such as replacing old capacitors or checking tubes) to be fully operational again. The wooden cabinet is in Very good vintage shape with normal wear consistent with a 90+ year old radio. Features original front knobs and the prominent central speaker grille cutouts. Please study the high-resolution photos carefully to evaluate the exact condition of the wood veneer, finish, and speaker cloth. This is a vintage Emerson Model 602 or 636 tube radio, frequently designed by Raymond Loewy in the late 1940s. It features a distinctive Art Deco or streamlined plastic/Bakelite cabinet with a grid-style speaker grille, reminding of the dashboard radios of cars of the 1940′s. Raymond Lowery designed the Streamlined locomotives for the Pennsylvania Railroad, Studebaker Commander and Avanti as well. As Logos for Exxon, Shell, BP, International Harvester, TWA, Nabisco, Quaker, New Man, LU and the U. This radio is the best example of art deco design. Needs some repair of dial knob and probably a tube or 2 – right now it’s the ususal hum and some radio reception.

This loose-leaf reference manual contains factory-issued service bulletins, wiring diagrams, schematics, voltage charts, alignment procedures, and parts information for a variety of early tube radios. Manufacturers represented include Philco, Emerson, Arvin, and likely others. Features numerous detailed fold-out schematics and technical service information used by authorized radio repair shops during the Golden Age of radio. The binder is personalized to the original owner, L. Tompkins, adding to its historical appeal as a genuine working technician’s reference rather than a later reprint. Approximately 11.5″ x 9.5″.
