This unit features a gorgeous, sought-after green finish that screams Art Deco and Early Mid-Century Modern style. Condition Details. Exterior: The cabinet is in remarkable shape for its age. There are NO cracks and NO burn marks on the housing. The original knobs and handle are intact. Functionality: The radio powers on! The dial lights up and the volume control is functional. It is currently picking up static/faint signals, but like all electronics of this era, it could likely use new capacitors to bring it back to full, clear performance. Note: The back cover is missing, revealing the original internal components and the loop antenna (stamped 8CW-334-2). Provenance: Includes a charming, handwritten note taped to the bottom stating: This radio was given to me on my birthday 1939. ” This is a “must-have for any serious radio collector or a perfect restoration project for someone who wants a pristine 1930s showpiece. Vintage 1930s Emerson / Ingraham Case Wood Table Top Radio Model BF 204. Case is in nice condition with some wear to finish and some scratches here & there. But still presentable (see pictures). Plastic dial cover still intact – has some light scratches and a drip mark. Bottom has Imgraham label. Has antenna attached & original cord. When I turned it on I got some cracklimg sounds when turning knobs and the 2 tubes on right were lit (see picture). Don’t know what it takes to make it work correctly.
