Vintage Zenith H615 brown Bakelite tabletop tube radio in very nice overall condition. Features a beautiful glossy brown Bakelite cabinet, large center tuning dial, gold-tone speaker grille, integrated carrying handle and original back. Radio powers on and works. Receives multiple radio stations. Tuning dial moves properly through the range. Tuning control operates. Volume/power control operates. Red indicator light on top illuminates when powered on. Speaker produces audio. No additional servicing or extended testing performed. Reasonable offers welcome, happy to work with buyers. The brown Bakelite cabinet is in very nice vintage condition and presents exceptionally well. The body retains an attractive glossy finish and has no major cracks or breaks observed. The front is especially nice, with the large center dial face, gold-tone speaker grille, Zenith lettering and surrounding trim all presenting well. The dial is in good condition and the indicator moves when the tuning control is operated. Both brown control knobs are present and intact. The integrated carrying handle on top is intact and in good condition. The red power indicator lens is present and illuminates when the radio is powered on. This item is a vintage RCA “New Yorker” Model 5Q55 walnut bakelite tube table radio from approximately 1938. Design: It features a molded cabinet designed by John Vassos. It does turn on but does radio does not connect. (With the cords being exposed it was probably a poor choice to plug it in to test it, but I did it anyway). It is highly recommended to replace the electrical wiring before plugging it in again, it could be dangerous. This radio will require some work, wiring and such to get it working again. The body is in excellent condition though. It is a beautiful piece! There are some white paint speckles on the top, I was able to remove a few of them with a damp rag very carefully, but there are still a few dots there. I just got tired and didn’t do the rest, sorry! Dimensions: Approximately 13.5″ wide, 9.3″ tall and 8.7 deep, and weighs 15 pounds & 1 oz. Please see photos for more details and thanks for looking!

Vintage Emerson DW-330B Bakelite Tube Radio – 1941 Art Deco – PARTS / REPAIR / RESTORATION. The DW-330B is part of Emerson’s “American Five” family, produced between 1939 and 1942; this example dates to 1941. It uses the classic five-tube superheterodyne (“All American Five” / AA5) circuit. The power cord has been cut and the radio is UNTESTED; it does not power on as-is and will need servicing before use. The chassis appears relatively unmolested (original and not previously hacked), and the pasteboard dial face is damaged. THE CABINET is the highlight: no cracks, no chips, and no detracting scratches, with good original luster – a great candidate for restoration or as a parts donor.
