While diminutive in size, its attractive sunburst front is a real eye catcher. Add to that the unusual gray plaskon color, and you have quite the conversation piece. With five tubes, the sound is bright and clear with good sensitivity. The cabinet was cleaned and polished. The dial face and knobs are in excellent condition. The power indicator light shines nicely in a darkened room. The cabinet has a few very minor scuffs and there is a tiny crack on the right side while facing the radio that is difficult to discern, even in the photos. Electronically, the chassis was restored, cleaned and serviced, with all paper and electrolytic capacitors replaced. Tubes and resistors were replaced as needed. All controls and contacts were detail cleaned and lubricated. Wiring and other components were replaced as needed. The radio was aligned, peaked and tuned for optimal reception and quality of sound using the internal antenna. Small, cute and unique, this gem of a radio will fit just about anywhere. And, now that this 66 year old is restored, it should easily last another 66 years!
