The model number is T600 chassis number is 6T40Z & it was produced around the 1955 era. The black cabinet is clean inside & out & in good condition but there are some light scuffs & general wear do to age & usage. All in all this radio looks good for it’s age. I have taken many pictures so you may get a good view at this nice looking & working radio. The front panel/lid opens & closes nicely & the brass latch works well. The multiband dial scale & dial pointer are in fantastic condition & works well. The zenith dial-a-mat chart log is in excellent condition. The black handle on top is in fantastic condition. The wave magnet antenna on top is in fantastic condition. The large telescopic antenna is in great working condition. The chassis is in great condition & uses 6-tubes including the ballas tube. The chassis has been serviced by a professional radio tech who replaced the 50A1 ballas tube with a new tube, installed all new electrolytic capacitor filters & also replaced several capacitors. The electric cord is in good condition that can be safely plugged in. This radio has been restored to great working condition. This is a vintage radio & must be handled & cared for & treated in this manor & not like a modern day boombox. Tube radio technology “unlike modern day solid state radios” can have interference/noise in the sound quality, caused by kitchen appliances, computer monitors, flat screen TV’S, florescent lights, washing machines, high power wires/lines above your home, etc… So where you position/place this radio in your home can make a huge difference & the direction/position it is set in. A lot of tube radios are directional meaning you “may” have to turn the radio one way or the other to receive the best reception. The approximate size of this fabulous gem is 17-1/4″ long 7-3/4″ wide & 11-1/2 high. I package very well for a safe arrival.
