This is as nice of a ARVIN HOPALONG CASSIDY RADIO that you could ever find. Produced in the early 1950s. I can receive radio programs at my home, and I’m a good distance from any local station. It’s a tube radio and takes a couple of minutes to warm up. Approximately 8″ long, by 5 1/4″ tall, by 4 deep. Check the photos for condition detail. Rare 1950s-1960s Pink Juliette Deluxe Radio that Works! Needs some restoration and cleaning, as shown. The radio powers on and receives stations, as shown in the video, but there is a hum and the cord is old/stiff, so this will need a tune-up. There are 2 cracks in the case that seem to have come from heat inside the radio around the tubes. There are stains and soiling on the case that may or may not come off with the proper cleaning. We did not want to damage the radio attempting to clean it beyond a soft cloth. The Juliette logo is no longer on the front of the radio.
1938 Philco 38-93b Cathedral-Style Tube Radio. Interesting piece, as it’s labeled 38-93 but looks like a 37-93b (different cabinet shape). Based on the inspection date, I’m guessing this radio was manufactured at the tail end of the 1937 production run and was simply labeled as a’38 model. Could use some restoration but seems to be fully functional. Receives fine without an antenna connected. Frequency display is quite badly damaged. Would likely be dust in the wind if not for some ancient tape on the inside holding it together. The tiny bulb that illuminates the frequency display went out during testing but came back on. May be in need of replacement soon. Volume knob was exceptionally scratchy so the pot has been cleaned. It is no longer scratchy. Has numerous chips in the finish: scuffs, scratches etc. But it could be worse!

This radio still work but there is a buzzing sound that plays when you play the radio. The wood casing is in good shape with a crack and dusty but nothing major. Both knobs still work and the the dial still turns. The glass over the dial is still in tact.
