(Brooklyn, New York). Model: 4602 (Early post-WWII era). Year: 1946. Circuitry: Classic “All American Five” (AA5) superheterodyne circuit. Power Specifications: 110-125 Volts, 40 Watts, 50-60 Hz? Condition and Features? . High Level of Originality and Completeness: Retains the original front metal “AIR KING RADIO” crown emblem, the pair of matching wooden knobs, and the intact Art Deco-style “waterfall” wooden grille. Museum-Quality Bottom Label: The original paper label on the bottom is in excellent condition, with text as clear as new. Clean and Complete Chassis: The interior is exceptionally tidy, free from severe rust, dust accumulation, or mold. The original large loop antenna is intact. All “GT” series tubes such as 35Z5GT, 50L6GT, 12SQ7, etc. Are present and correctly installed. Exterior Condition: The wooden cabinet shows natural wear consistent with its age, with minor finish loss or scuffs along the top and bottom edges (please refer to photos), yet it retains a charming vintage character and authentic patina. The internal circuitry appears completely unmodified, making it an ideal candidate for a collector’s “authentic” restoration project, as well as a superb decorative piece for a Mid-Century Modern Power cord missing; please refer to the photos for other details.
