1948 ARVIN RADIO VINTAGE TUBE RADIO named Rock A Billy. 9 x 5 x 6 Bakelite red radio. This is a seldom seen Deco-style radio that usually comes with brown Bakelite knobs. These rare ivory Colored knobs are original to this set, according to Sams Photofact set 42 folder 3, published in July 1948. It’s Bakelite cabinet is in perfect mint condition and has a deep red finish that retains its original beautiful shine. Its gold foil dial is in good condition and lights up beautifully in the dark. It even comes complete with the original cardboard backing, that has some wear. Ready to be restored.
