It lights up it works. I got a radio station vaguely because I live a long ways from any stations. I figure there is some veneer missing on the top and on the side. I took pictures of a tube lit up and the front while it was on with the lights. Not sure if you can get a station in your area but this is really awesome on the front. It has eastern hemisphere, Rome, Tokyo, Prague, London, Paris, Berlin, New York, Pittsburgh, and many others. It’s says short, wave one and short wave two and then broadcast. It measures approximately 18 1/2 long 9 1/4 deep and 10 1/4 tall. The buttons on the knobs are bake a light. Also, on the right side it has megacycles and kilo cycles.
