No obscene dust related crackle or hum from bad caps. Small top right rough corner but, it could easily be overlooked as it is not visible from the front and just visible if you look directly at it from the top.. The volume control is good but, not great. It could use another good cleaning with some contact cleaner, likely. It has a good spot where the sound is great and another where it gets some hum. The chassis was nice and clean. It appeared as though someone worked on it or stored it before I got it. The cord was roached out so, I replaced it with a vintage style one in very good condition. There are a few odd scratches, here and there. But, it is 70 years old. Overall, one of the better radios I have seen of this type. There is a rattle when the volume is up full.
