Great Motorola 1950′s turbine tube tabletop radio, Model 56H. This one is antique white color. This model has a great futuristic space design and was way ahead of its time in the 1950′s. The center cone-like gold-tone dial is the tuning knob. This one works great, is very secure. It is missing the clear plastic covering, but that does not affect the way it works. The left hand knob is for powering it on and volume control. This, also, is very secure and working great. The right handed knob is attached securely, although it does not seem to do anything (not sure if that was intended or not). The Bakelight casing is in very good condition, only having one surface scratch on the top. It is completely intact and quite clean. The pressed board backing is also in very good condition and very secure. It has very good graphics and is very legible. The radio operates very well. It does take a minute to make sound, as the tubes need to warm up. They may need changing. All in all, this is a really great piece and highly collectible! Please message me with any questions.
