The radio belonged to my grandmother and I can remember her listening to “Dialing for Dollars” on a local Baltimore radio station when we would visit her during the mid-late 50s, hoping they would call her because she always knew the “count and the amount” (don’t believe they ever did). Cosmetically there are some minor spots/scuff marks on one side of the case and a few minor spots on the dial (might be removable), but given its age it is in pretty good shape–no chips or cracks in the exterior case. Someone who knows what he’s doing could probably easily get it working again. It measures approximately 5″x5″x6 1/2. Sticker with the tube diagram is still on the bottom of the radio. As far as I know all parts are original, including the electrical cord and vacuum tubes (all tubes Emerson branded).
