Just completed for you is a simply beautiful 1939 emerson dm 331. This radio is 16″ long x 8″ tall x 7.5 deep. The cabinet has an outstanding refinish to it all done by hand and is in excellent condition. There is a new dial cover, new dial lamp, new filter and wax capacitors. The remaining components and the tubes/resistors were all checked, tested, cleaned, adjusted, and lubed where needed. Any weak or questionable were tossed and replaced. The big 7 speaker is in excellent condition and sounds great with a clear voice. The dial face is excellent and the knobs have been polished and resealed. The radio receives and plays very well with no issues. You will need to attach 12-14 feet of wire to the rear antenna pigtail for proper reception and performance. The radio’s performance will vary based on your location and signal strength. A wonderful blast from the past here !
