All tubes have been checked and replaced as needed. Resistors were replaced as needed. All moving parts were lubricated. The chassis has been aligned back to factory specifications. A new dial light and a new safe power cord have been installed. All controls work as they should. The radio plays with a nice mellow tone. The cabinet has been refinished using high quality grain fillers and nitrocellulose toning and clear lacquers. I apply at least 12 coats of lacquer, sanding every other coat for maximum smoothness. I let the cabinet cure for at least one month and then hand polish to a high gloss. This is a very time consuming process but the results are worth it. The cabinet is very solid and has lustrous wood graining. The numbers and graphics on the dial are perfect and the dial lights up very well. The knobs and grill cloth are original to the set.
