I was playing it several months ago, (preparing to make a video of the Sound quality) and it was working fine. But, I moved the radio while it was playing & everything shut down, including all the sound, lights and power. Before that, the auto scan seemed to work better when scanning from right to left. It missed some stations going left to right. It was made approximately 1961, and is well known for its magnificent sound. Its a HUGE radio with a high gloss finish like Bakelite. All the writing on the radio is in GERMAN. I dont know what all the buttons do, since they are all in German. The round knob like dial on the bottom right doesnt move. It has push buttons as well as dials. It needs repairs by some knowledgeable collector of vintage radios to bring it to its full glory. It has a built in antenna with a dial for better tuning. The cloth face appears to be in very good condition. I have not attempted to clean it for fear of doing something wrong. It has the European plugin with the US adapter.
