You are looking at one of the most distinctive wood radios made in the 1940s. The radio is from the famed Canadian maker, Addison of Toronto, this model nicknamed the “Courthouse”. Same design that was made in the catalin genre. These are most prized by collectors for the hugely architectural influences. The radio looks like a deco/art nouveau building. The radio is a five tube super het, and it has seen the thorough restoration by my technician. All of the other elements have been tested and meet or exceed the new factory values. Completing the restoration is a new power cord and plug. The cabinet has been professionally refinished all by hand and it gleams, ready to DISPLAY, PLAY, AND ENJOY!! Factory original grill cloth, glass dial scale, and bakelite knobs. The radio plays like new and should for many years to come. 13″W x 10″H x 8-1/2D. IF you are looking for a bargain, and enjoy the pleasure that is derived from doing your own restoration at your pace, please check out these most affordable radios. You can listen to Spotify, IHeart, Pandora, Sirius XM, and many FM radio stations through this old vintage radio.
