The radio does power on as it should and I was able to hear a hum and some static. It was not hooked up to an external antenna. The backlit dial looks works well and looks AWESOME! All of the various dials and switches seem to be working as they should be. The wood cabinet is nice and solid and the original finish looks great! There are some minor imperfections like you might expect on a piece from this era, including some minor veneer loss on the top of the radio. All of the original knobs are pres ent. As you can see from the. Pictures, the chassis looks clean, but the radio has been in storage for many years, so I’m sure that it could use a good/thorough cleaning. Looks like some restoration was done at some point as there is a newer (than 1933) plug and a Zenith speaker. Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself. This set would look very nice in any vintage themed room or in your collection! Please be sure to check out my other listings as I have several other vintage radios for sale!
