For your consideration, a vintage radio by General Television. It appears to be model 5A5, based on comparison with photos of others. The body is black Bakelite, and the trim is green plastic. As shown, there is minor wear to the knobs and trim, and some light wear on the Bakelite (light scratches and scuffs). There are no chips or cracks in the Bakelite. The radio turns on and the display lights up. We havent managed to tune in a radio station, though. If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to let me know! One user kindly pointed out that the wear pattern on the trim suggests that it is not “green plastic, ” but actually painted plastic. The plastic certainly does not appear to be hand-painted, so I believe that this is the original (factory) condition of the plastic (polystyrene).
