Up for sale is a 1935 admiral antique tube radio model b600 in a medium dark walnut tombstone cabinet with “tulip” wood grill bars and a square dial in brass escutcheon. Radio was fully recapped, tubes tested and replaced as needed. Chassis was cleaned and controls lubricated. New dial lights and external antenna were installed. Sw band is more active late at night and may require an outdoor antenna. Cabinet was stripped, sanded, stained and coated with multiple layers of clear lacquer. There are some blemishes, wood and finish imperfections (see pictures). Original grill cloth is clean and intact. All bakelite knobs are present and operate properly.
