Receiver-transmitter unit from an old electrical supply collection. This is a vintage commercial/land mobile radio, model EU-EG48ST8 (FCC Type ESB31A), manufactured by GE in Lynchburg, VA, USA (circa late 1960s-early 1970s). Operates in the 450-470 MHz UHF band at approximately 10W output. Designed for vehicle mounting (trunk or dash) with tube/hybrid circuitry (see internal photos showing tubes, capacitors, transformers, and wiring). No power cord, control head, microphone, speaker, antenna cable, mounting hardware, or crystals/channel elements included (not shown in photos; requires 12V DC vehicle power-observe polarity on NEG/POS/GND terminals). In generally great cosmetic condition for age, with typical wear including scuffs, scratches, dust, and minor surface oxidation on the metal case and heatsinks. Packaging, paperwork, or original accessories not included unless shown. Recapping, tube checks, sourcing accessories, determining exact frequency/crystals, and ensuring proper FCC-compliant use. Photos show exterior labeling model EU-EG48ST8, FCC type ESB31A, serial no. 502020, option 4581, rear multi-pin connector, heatsinks, and internal views of tube circuitry and components.
