Very clean inside and out with microphone however it does not power up. I pulled it out of the case for inspection and the fuse looks good. The power supply cord fits but it was from another Lafayette transceiver. I notice there are 11 pins coming out the back and only 9 wired connections inside the plug. Two of the holes are empty. Very possible its the wrong power supply and not wired for this particular model. Might be an easy fix if you work on these. Perfect for parts or restoration. This old Yaesu looks pretty good for it’s age! The cabinet is a little dirty, but should clean up well. The paint is original and there are just a few small scuffs and scratches. The cover is missing the two small screws that secure it in place. The faceplate still has the factory’s plastic film over it. Inside, it’s dusty but will clean up well with just some compressed air. I’m guessing it’s original and unmodified, but I’m not an expert on this model by any means, so please review the photos for yourself and judge for yourself. This is an ideal candidate for electronic restoration! This piece of equipment is believed to have not been used in years (possibly decades). It will almost certainly need some level of service. This Tempo transceiver is in fair cosmetic condition. The case is dirty and has some scuffs/scratches. Inside, even the chassis is a little dirty. All controls turn smoothly. Please note that the screws holding the chassis to the cabinet are not original. This one will make a great candidate for restoration or an excellent parts unit in the worse-case!
