This transceiver is in fair cosmetic condition, but certainly far from perfect. The cabinet has it’s share of scuffs/scratches and is relatively dusty from storage. The faceplate is in good condition. Also, it appears complete and free of modification. We briefly powered it on and the tube filaments lit up, however no further testing has been done. This will make an excellent candidate for restoration! This equipment is part of a very large silent-key estate we recently acquired, all of which has been in a storage unit for approximately 15 years. We have not done any testing beyond what is specifically mentioned above. There are a few reasons for this, but it essentially comes down to the fact that they almost always need some level of service and it’s simply not cost effective to pay our technician to spend time going through them. It may or may not need components replaced (caps, resistors, tubes, etc), controls cleaned/lubricated, alignment, and so on.
