Here is a terrific and less expensive art deco wood tombstone made circa 1937 by RCA. It is a model #5T. RCA owned all of the Armstrong patents and the level of technology they employed was the best. This five-tube model is an advanced super-het offering both Broadcast and Shortwave reception. This radio has original finish and is untested as the cord is cut. The speaker cloth and knobs appear to be factory originals. These are terrific performers and the selectivity and sound quality challenge larger and more expensive radios. Radio measures approximately 16-1/4″H x 13-1/4″W x 9D. If you are looking for a perfect weekend project and love to restore old radios, consider this prime example!
