You are looking at a stunning 1934 Grunow #450 with the ultra art deco chrome grill. This little beauty known as “The Modern Miracle” is a beautiful small tombstone from the Art Deco period. The cabinet has been expertly refinished back to its original finish using correct toners and stains, and finished off in a hand rubbed lacquer finish. The chassis has been electronically restored, replacing all capacitors and out of tolerance resistors. This set plays loud and clear on BC and SW bands. This set is a early superheterodyne and has a large speaker. This would make a fine addition to any collection. The set was made in 1934, yet the case and grille are in remarkable condition having been completely restored cosmetically and electronically. This set was known for the solid walnut two tone cabinet. The radio is in pristine condition, it retains all of the paperwork inside the case and a full sticker on the chassis. Original knobs, grill cloth, speaker, chrome grill, etc. The chassis is complete, restored, and the radio is ready to be displayed, played, and enjoyed.
