Drake TR-4 Tube Transceiver for 4-Series Vintage Ham Radio SN 12016. This is a very nice transceiver. Cosmetically, it looks pretty darn good! The faceplate looks perfect, and while the cabinet has a few dings and scratches, it is better than most. Operationally, the unit runs strong. It has been partially recapped, and receives well with strong output! Although this piece is currently in working condition, it is still a vintage piece of equipment. It will inevitably need maintenance, however it’s impossible to say whether that will be next week or a few years from now. Unless you are capable of doing this work yourself (or have access to someone who can), we suggest you revisit the idea of whether this is the right equipment for you.
