For sale is a Very Rare BLUE NEUTROWOUND 1927 Breadboard TUBE RADIO. Own a part of HISTORY with this 90 year old radio! The Neutrowound model 1927 was introduced in June of 1926. The Neutrowound company began manufacturing radios in 1924 and lasted for five years. Most Neutrowound radios are black but this one is blue in color with orange webbing. This lovely unit is in good original condition, (see pictures). All of the knobs turn free as they should. It measures 33 3/4″ long by 6″ tall by 9 wide. It is made out of metal, painted blue with orange webbing, very low rectangular case with 3 top raised dial areas, 7 knobs, BC, 6 tubes with top caps (one missing) & is a battery set. This is a very nice art deco era blue Neutrowound tube Radio and would make an awesome addition to any collection, it would also make a very nice gift idea as well. This is a very hard to find blue and chrome model. Please closely examine the photos, this unit was found at an estate and had been in storage for some time. The interior needs obvious cleaning. This is completely untested and appears to be an excellent candidate for parts or for a restoration project.
