Here’s a nice vintage Swan Mark-II HF Ham Radio Linear Amplifier. Let me make this clear from the beginning — this is untested. I haven’t used it for 10 years or more. Like they say about used cars “it ran fine when parked”. Really, my shack used to be about 95% stacks of Swan gear, but over the years I really trimmed down. I have no way to test this. I don’t have 220 power at home, I don’t have a dummy load that will handle the power, I don’t have the right radio to drive it, and I don’t have an antenna setup for this sort of power. I honestly can’t tell you anymore than that it’s complete, not damaged, shows minimal wear, mostly from setting other gear on top of it. It’s been sitting safely in a nice dry upstairs closet. The tubes are Eimac. They’re the ones that were in it when I bought it used many years ago. The only defect I can see is the insulation on the power line to the fan has cracked a bit and should be replaced. Like with any vintage electronics you should expect to have to work on it at some point. I do also have the matching power suppy listed. It’s rather large and heavy and will be packed to arrive in good shape. The item “Vintage Tube SWAN MARK-II Ham Radio HF Linear Amplifier Nice” is in sale since Wednesday, April 20, 2016.
