For your consideration is one of my favorite Emerson tube radio’s. This is the always so eye catching and beautifully colored Emerson model 131. This is the “Ingraham” designed cabinet with the Ingraham metal label on the back cover. The cabinet has been refinished and looks wonderful. The great number of the veneer colors and grains really set these models apart from the rest. The radio is 12″ long x 8.75″ tall x 8 deep. A very nice size allowing you to display the radio almost anywhere you wish. The radio has a new grill cloth, new dial lamp, new AC power cord, new dial cover, and new filter/audio capacitors. The tubes, resistors, and remaining components were also tested and replaced if needed. The knobs and bezel were polished and resealed. The back cover does show some wear missing some veneer here and there but overall very solid and does its job. There is a band selector switch (BC & SW) at the rear and you will need to attach a few feet of wire to the antenna pigtail for proper performance and reception. The radio plays very well with no issues and performance will vary based on your location and signal strength. NO RESERVE and I thank you for stopping by!
