Up for listing is this Vtg Antique 1920′s RCA Radiola 26 Portable Tube Radio Super Heterodyne Cabinet. Comes with one spare tube not plugged in. Item is untested, does have batteries but they appear to be dead and I do not know where to locate others. Cabinet alone looks amazing, and this is a truly special piece. Dimensions of this item are: 14-1/12″ Tall, 13″ Wide, 9-1/4 Deep and Weighs a massive 35lbs 9oz. To see the other listings. This is for the shade only, no lights / lamps included. 1925 Radiola 26 Vintage Portable Radio Complete w/ exception of Batteries. From my Fathers estate collection. RCA Radiola Model 26 Radio complete w/ the exception of Batteries. The case veneer is rough, but interior is clean and is fully tubed w/ original tubes. I have no way of checking the tubes of this vintage. As the pictures show, the wiring, markings are all complete and the interior is free from dust or debris. Latches are all there and working. Unfortunately the handle is missing. I would expect that you would. Examine the pictures closely as they are an integral, important part of the description. Please check my other listings for other antique radio components. Just another couple of notes, I opened up the grill to the speaker and have a picture inside.. It is as clean as the battery side. The tuner knobs on the right side have pearl? The picture looks like the inserts are missing or there is some kind of filler inside. Also, I’ve taken another picture of the front. With the exception of veneer being chipped, the case is not as bad as the pictures show. For sale is very rare RCA Radiola 24 Portable Heterodyne made in 1925 with a suitcase style case. Only 7079 were manufactured. It has a rotating antenna, a built-in loud speaker with batteries inside. The outside finish is very shiny – the wood in excellent condition. All knobs are present. Case is made of black cowhide. Case is in very good condition – the handle is intact. This radio has been stored for 20 years – I assume that it needs new batteries. Just a note: The back and front of the case are in the same condition – see photos of one of the sides. I reached the limit of photos and was unable to show the other side of the case.
