A top of the line Blaupunkt. Five speakers and three bands. Speakers are a 7×10 woofer, two 5×7 midrange and two electrostatic tweeters. Appears that someone has replaced the on off switch to the front of unit – unsure why?? Could be it no longer worked in the panel of buttons. Tone controls are hi-fi, solo, sonor, bass and treble. Speaker cloth and back are excellent. Cabinet is in very nice condition with a couple of nicks and some minor varnish loss that is hard to see. Cabinet size is a very large 24″W x 15″H x 10D. Cool older radio for display or use!

I obtained about 80 tube radios from an estate sale. I will be listing these over the next few weeks so please see my other listings. This listing is for a VERY RARE Jewel Radio Corp. Brand out of Long Island City NY. Brown bakelite with cream, gold, and blue front. The original back cover is still with the radio. All original knobs are still there and not missing. The dial cover has no cracks or chips. The grill is in good shape with no cracks or chips. The cord should be replace as it has one worn spot. The radio has not been plugged in/tested due to this. The radio sits nice and flat with no wobble. One of the back corners has a chip as seen in pictures. These radios are highly collectable and are getting harder to find online. It is in working condition with a very nice bass sound – likely why this radio is so heavy. The left tuning knob feels loose, but I think that could be repaired easily. Some cosmetic issues maybe old tape? On the Bakelite on the top.
