The radio powers on as it should. I was able to tune in several stations here in central Indiana and I also got a lot of static. I did not hook it up to an external antenna. The wood cabinet is still nice and sturdy with no cracks, chips, etc. The finish looks nice as well. It does have a few minor imperfections like you might expect on a piece from this era. Check out the original tag on the bottom! The tuning dial does seem to have some play in it so my guess is that it could use some adjustment. All of the pushbuttons seem to be working as they should be. It measures approximately 20″ by 12″ by 10 1/2. Please check my other listings to see several other vintage radios from this collection.
