Here is super nice Sparton 537 Tombstone from my collection. The 537 was produced by Sparks-Withington of Jackson Michigan for the 1934 1935 model year. The Cabinet, is killer isn’t it? Extreme art deco trapezoid in appearance. The burl grains are. Absolutely stunning and all match perfectly. The finish is in exceptional condition and the grille cloth is original. The dial is a Radiodaze repro from the original. They do incredible work don’t they? This is a very solid cabinet. 14 wide by 13 by 9 inches. The Chassis, has been completely restored and caps and other electrolytic’s replaced. All tubes checked and replaced as needed. The speaker is just fine. The radio has been aligned and plays. Well picking up many stations on both broadcast and short-wave bands, with an external antenna. I will include a 10′ wire for the winner. The chassis has been detail and is in very nice condition. Please follow my sales as I will be listing even more excellent radio in the weeks before Christmas. Please see my feedback. I pack them right. I don’t know of any 80 year old. Thank you and good luck. You will love this radio even if all you do is display it.
