This is a Emud model T7 tube radio from around 1957 to 1959. This is in nice condition for how many years it has been around, and it does still work fine. The knobs and sliders for the selectors were cleaned and serviced with contact cleaner, and they are all working fine without crackling or issues. The speakers are all in very good condition, they are loud and have clear sound. The power cord on this revision is attached to the transformer directly, so you can run it without the back cover if you need to service something, the other revision had the cord attached to the back cover so you could not run the radio without the back cover on. The tuner is very good, and the tube on the front that shows signal strength is working fine as well, showing how well you have tuned into a radio station. The outer wood is in good condition, not perfect, there are a few chips, but still in overall nice glossy condition. All the tubes are working fine, I tried to take a picture of the inside to show that the tubes are all glowing, it’s a little hard to see, but if you look closely they are all working. No hum or buzzing when working other than the audio from the radio station you are tuned into. The radio itself measures in inches 21 wide by 12.5 tall and 9.5 deep at the base. If you have any questions or need more pictures, please let me know, thanks. The item “Emud T7 Tube Radio AM FM SW Vintage West Germany” is in sale since Saturday, September 28, 2019.
