This is a gorgeous radio to look at. The distinctive wooden cabinet has rounded swept back corners and is made from striking walnut veneers. This is a working radio ready to play, display and enjoy – the big sound is clear and crisp with no hum. It is electrically sound. This radio was originally a battery radio, but a fairly expensive battery eliminator has been added to it and it now uses a regular household wall plug. The battery eliminator could be removed and used as an outside portable power supply on any other “farm battery” radio. Grill is barred and has the original cloth and it contains a big oval speaker. The wooden knobs are original and in good shape – the tuner works very smoothly. The Measurements are: across 17″ height 10″, and width 10. This radio will give years of good service. Every radio I sell has been thoroughly serviced – tubes tested, components checked and then the unit is lubricated and cleaned inside and out.
