Hello, This is the radio made in Germany just before WW2 in 1938 model DKF38. Made by Minerva known by the name Volksempfänger (Peoples Radio). This one is a yard sale find it looks very nice however. 1, The radio has no back cover!! 2, When the radio is plugged in the small tube lights up and the there is humming/motorboating sound coming from, the speaker and this is it.
