OUR VERY OWN DESIGN OFFERING – Vacuum Tube Battery Eliminator Power Supply Kit. This kit features three, independent DC power sources, to provide B+ (high voltage), A+ (filament voltage) and C- (grid voltage), for vacuum tube and other electronic equipment. The kit was primarily designed to be used with our line of low power vacuum tube kits, but can be used to power other equipment. Most of our kits will benefit from the increased voltage available by this supply. Modifications to connected kits may be necessary when operated at higher voltages. 120VAC input, a stepdown transformer is necessary for operation on 220VAC. The stock kit provides the following voltages and currents. B+ circuit consists of a standard series string zener diode arrangement, with taps of 9, 22, 44, 66 and 88 volts. Nominal current of 10mA at 88 volts, higher current at lower voltage taps respectively. Board has provision for optional 110 and 132 volt taps, for use with higher powered transformers. A+ circuit consists of a LM317 voltage regulator. Variable output from 1.2 – 8.0 volts, up to 350mA. Stock kit provides a trimmer to supply 1.4 volts. C- circuit provides an adjustable, unregulated 0 – 28 volts. An optional onboard zener diode regulator is available. NOTE: The unit must be operated in an enclosure at all times, enclosure not included. Only for sale for to people experienced with line powered devices. Not for sale to, or use by minors. Kit features easy printed circuit board assembly. High quality fiberglass circuit board, measures 3.9 x 3.9 inches. Single sided design without plated through holes, so it is easy for the beginner to solder and unsolder components. Board has three different color LED’s to monitor each supply. AC line input fuse. Connections are made by convenient screw terminal connectors. Complete with all parts. Kit includes line cord and external power switch which mounts in enclosure (enclosure not supplied).
