This is a used Collins 75S-3 winged emblem vintage ham radio receiver that works good, with good sensitivity, except there is a “buzz” (it is not 60 cycle hum) on the received signal it is not present when there is just static with no voice or cw.. You can hear the buzz on the calibrator signal or on a CW note or on SSB voice audio. The buzz is also present when you use the headphones. The buzz is present when in the crystal BFO or the tuneable BFO position.. The tuning works smooth and all controls including rejection tuning work and S meter works. It includes the power cord and a photocopy of the manual. The cabinet is in very good condition with almost no marks on it. The front panel is pretty good also with a couple minor flaws on the screen printing that you can see in the pictures.. The chassis is very clean, both SSB and CW filters are present. It looks like the electrolytics have been replaced (not sure about the triple can).. It is pretty good and takes up a lot less space. Frequency ranges: 3.4-3.6, 3.6-3.8, 3.8-4, 7-7.2, 7.2-7.4, 14-14.2, 14.2-14.4, 14.8-15, 21.2-21.4, 21.4-21.6, 28.5-28.7 MHz. Features include: S-Meter, Preselector, 100 kHz Crystal Calibrator 100 kHz, Rejection Tuning, AGC OFF/SLO/FST, BFO and Fiduciary Adjust. It has jacks for: Anti-Vox Jack, Sidetone Jack, Speaker and Mute. The 75S-3 matches the Collins 32S-3. 14.75 x 7.7 5x 12.5 inches 20 lbs.
