This BLONDE radio is an awesome example of that great Mid-Century Modern look! Gold tweed fabric grille cover cloth. The radio does power on as it should and I was able to hear a hum. The backlit dial works nicely. This is another really interesting radio (be sure to check out the Emerson 908 that I have listed as well). All of the various dials and switches seem to be working as they should be. The wood cabinet is nice and solid. The finish looks nice although there is what looks like some water staining on the top of the radio. All of the original knobs are present. As you can see from the. Pictures, the chassis looks clean, but the radio has been in storage for many years, so I’m sure that it could use a good/thorough cleaning. There are a couple of loose components where, perhaps, the fasteners have broken or become brittle. The radio measures approximately 18″ W by 7″ D and 9 H. Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself. This set would look very nice in any vintage themed room or in your collection! Please be sure to check out my other listings as I have several other vintage radios for sale!
