See title and pics for description. Plugged it in and it hums and sounds like it is close to tuning in a station. Not restored, this is an original survivor. Knob moves the needles on the dial. Dial appears to be in very good condition.

A very rare model #2 by Addison Industries, of Toronto, ON Canada, this is the wood model of the similar model as the catalin baby Addison “Waterfall”. In 28 years I have only seen this example in wood. This radio is from the collection of Mark Woolley. Beautiful solid maple wood cabinet refinished with contrasting ebony finish and bakelite fluted knobs. Radio retains its back panel and it plays well!! DISPLAY, PLAY, AND ENJOY!! This BLONDE radio is an awesome example of that great Mid-Century Modern look! Gold tweed fabric grille cover cloth. The radio does power on as it should and I was able to hear a hum. The backlit dial works nicely. This is another really interesting radio (be sure to check out the Emerson 908 that I have listed as well). All of the various dials and switches seem to be working as they should be. The wood cabinet is nice and solid. The finish looks nice although there is what looks like some water staining on the top of the radio. All of the original knobs are present. As you can see from the. Pictures, the chassis looks clean, but the radio has been in storage for many years, so I’m sure that it could use a good/thorough cleaning. There are a couple of loose components where, perhaps, the fasteners have broken or become brittle. The radio measures approximately 18″ W by 7″ D and 9 H. Please be sure to preview all of the pictures so that you can determine the condition for yourself. This set would look very nice in any vintage themed room or in your collection! This 71 year old blonde radio still has pizzazz! With modern looks for the time, it is a real standout radio that sounds great too. The cabinet was cleaned and polished and looks like new. The dial face and knobs are original. It has a few edge bumps that are normal for its age, but there are no blemishes, dings, cracks or scratches. The radio looks very charming, and the dial face and pointer light brightly to add to the looks in a darkened room. The chassis was cleaned, serviced and completely restored, with all paper and electrolytic capacitors replaced. Tubes and resistors were replaced as needed. All electrical contacts and controls were cleaned and lubricated. It was aligned, peaked and tuned for optimal reception, tracking and sound using the internal loop antenna. A bit bold for post WWII, it is now a reminder of those heady days after the war when the baby boom began. It should play well and look great for another 71 years.
