This radio receives stations with good clear sound and volume using just the loop antenna inside the case. The case is listed as maroon but looks dark walnut brown with a gold dial that lights up when the radio is on. The case has no cracks, chips or odors. I have thoroughly washed and buffed the case and it looks remarkable for a 66 year old. The knobs are original and the original hardboard back has been repaired. The original label on the bottom shows the location of the tubes. The inside chassis has been thoroughly cleaned; the volume control de-oxidized for smooth volume changes and all moving controls lubricated. I have replaced all old electrolytic and film capacitors in the chassis with new modern capacitors and have checked all resistors. Brittle or bare wiring has been replaced or re-insulated. All 5 easily found tubes have been tested and questionable tubes have been replaced. The line cord has been replaced with a new 18 gauge cord with molded, polarized plug. The speaker is in great condition. The radio has been successfully bench tested for days and should continue to play loud and clear for many more years. The radio size is approximately 7¾ high by 11¼ wide by 6 deep and weighs about 5½ pounds. For model 1X51 Ch= RC 1104C, RCA RCA Victor Co. United States of America (USA). RCA RCA Victor Co.
