Vintage 1940s Bendix 526C Catalin Radio Black Brown Swirled Green Art Deco Style. Produced in 1946 by the Bendix Corporation, the Art Deco-style 526c, is one of the most sought after of Bendix radios. The case is molded catalin, the more colorful cousin of Bakelite. Capable of AC and DC power. Size: 7″ x 7″ x 11. Color: The Front is black and the cover and knobs seem to be brown, The interor of the Radio is a swirled Green. Condition: The radio appears to be all original, including the knobs, rubber feet, and bottom label. The Front left side has a small repair done to the cabinet, Last Photo. Other than that, The shiny cabinet shows no chips, scratches, tube burns, or other damage. There is no back to the radio. The Radio needs a new Cord. The Radio has not been tested. See Photos for Details. The deteriorated cord will have to be replaced before the radio can be tested. The radio is in very good condition for its Age. Ready for a tune up or display.
